Our Services - Vocational The
Rotary Club of Coventry like all other clubs in Rotary has four
avenues of service in which its members are involved.
Vocational
Largely the work of this committee concerns educational support to the
schools of Coventry. Some occasional financial contribution may be
given to students who wish to give service overseas as part of their
academic development.
This avenue of service is manifested by Young Persons Awards for
Innovation - a competition held annually in Coventry and the Midlands.
Support is given to "Mornings of Music" in primary schools. A new
venture is the setting up of a musical instrument bank to encourage
schoolchildren to become musicians at practically no cost.
