Our Services - International The
Rotary Club of Coventry like all other clubs in Rotary has four
avenues of service in which its members are involved.
International
Rotary clubs throughout the world assist in many ways to help deprived
communities or groups. Such assistance is not always given in monetary
terms although this does play an important role. This Club for
instance was a prime mover in the construction of a clinic in
Uinberara in Uganda which largely treats cancer and aids patients. The
provision of disaster boxes to help victims of natural disasters is an
ongoing requirement for this committee. A major contribution over the
years has been the work of Rotary International to eradicate polio
disease now programmed to complete world wide in 2003.
